About ThaiTripMap

What is ThaiTripMap?

ThaiTripMap is a travel map that brings together local restaurants and cafés in Bangkok and Pattaya, along with great night-time spots such as live music pubs, jazz bars, wine bars, cocktail bars, and rooftop venues.

Rather than focusing on chains aimed at tourists, we select restaurants regularly visited by locals, places with consistently positive traveler reviews, and bars with a distinctive music and atmosphere. Tap a location on the map to see its description, opening hours, price range, Google rating, and YouTubers’ actual visit videos.

How we select and organize places

The operator reviews Korean-, English-, and Thai-language travel blogs, local media, travel guides, and venues’ official channels to select places for consideration. The descriptions and editor’s notes are written by ThaiTripMap after comparing information from multiple sources; we do not copy wording from those sources.

We mark places as “Verified” after confirming they are open using Google Maps and recent visit records. Sources consulted are listed at the bottom of each place page so anyone can check the original material.

Content written in Korean is also available in English, Japanese, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Russian, German, and French using AI translation.

Videos and copyright

Videos on place pages are publicly available visit videos shown using YouTube’s official embed feature. Copyright in each video belongs to its creator. If a video creator does not want it to appear, we will remove it upon request.

Places we do not feature

We do not feature adult entertainment venues such as go-go bars, hostess bars, adult shows, or illicit massage parlors. Our nightlife listings include only places for enjoying music, drinks, and atmosphere.

Visitor information

Opening hours, prices, and menus may change depending on the venue. Before visiting, please check the latest information using the “View on Google Maps” button for each place.
